A Sacramento man killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Angeles Crest Highway in the Angeles National Forest was publicly identified Monday.
Andre Matin was 20 years-old, the coroner’s office said.
The crash occurred at 5:10 p.m. Friday at mile post marker 50.00, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victim now identified as Matin was northbound when his 2006 Suzuki SV650 left the roadway, slid on its left side and crashed into a dirt embankment, the CHP said..
He was airlifted to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, where he died from his injuries at 6:49 p.m. Friday.
