A 16-year-old girl was killed in a stabbing in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles and two suspects were in custody Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Vermont Avenue about 1:30 p.m. Monday when they found the victim, who was taken to a hospital where she died, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim had gotten into a shouting match with two other people prior to the stabbing, police said.
The suspects were arrested.
