The driver of a stolen vehicle who led police on a chase was arrested in Sylmar Wednesday evening after crashing the vehicle into a parked vehicle and attempting to run away.
It was unclear when or where the chase began, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver crashed into the parked vehicle near Glenoaks Boulevard and Roxford Street around 8:30 p.m. Video from the scene showed the driver running away from the crash scene through nearby properties and jumping a wall before surrendering as officers moved in on him.
At one point, a passenger in the vehicle got out of the vehicle and was quickly detained by police.
