A man stabbed in Long Beach was uncooperative with police in locating who stabbed him and the circumstances surrounding the assault, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were dispatched at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday to a local hospital regarding a shooting report and upon their arrival determined it was a stabbing, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Officers contacted a male adult victim, in stable condition, who refused to cooperate with the investigation,” according to a police statement. `The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim self-transported to the hospital.”
Police said no crime scene was located and that the investigation was ongoing.
