A woman was reported killed after being struck by a pickup truck Saturday evening in Newport Beach.
The Newport Beach Police Department issued an advisory at 7:32 p.m. Saturday, saying that it had shut down eastbound Balboa Street at westbound Palm Street due to a traffic collision.
FOX11 reported via a helicopter overhead that a 20-year-old woman was killed in the crash.
Video showed a body covered by a yellow tarp and surrounded by a barricade, and a white pickup nearby.
Police would not immediately confirm the death.
