A 24-year-old man killed in a shooting in South Los Angeles was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The shooting occurred at 11:50 p.m. Saturday at 438 W. 68th St., between Figueroa Street and the Harbor (110) Freeway, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told City News Service.
A 24-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were in a moving vehicle when they were fired upon by a man in a parked sedan, the spokesman said.
The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the spokesman.
He was identified by the medical examiner as Paris O’Neal Jr.
Paramedics took the 33-year-old to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable.
