A man was fatally wounded Saturday morning in San Gabriel, authorities said.
Officers dispatched about 1:35 a.m. to the 100 block of Walnut Grove Avenue, regarding a “shots fired and gunshot victim” call, located a man next to a stairwell, lying unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
