A 46-year-old man and other suspects were arrested for alleged possession of narcotics and firearms after authorities noticed drug paraphernalia inside a white sedan in Lake Elsinore, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday.

Deputies from the Lake Elsinore station conducted a proactive community policing in the 31800 block of Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake at 8 a.m. Wednesday when they noticed paraphernalia in plain sight in the car and conducted a vehicle search.

Personnel found a loaded firearm, narcotics and evidence of narcotic sales, according to authorities.

According to the sheriff’s department, the driver, Rodolfo Terrazas of Hemet, was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center with bail set at $70,000.

The names and number of the other arrestees were not disclosed. They were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.
