Los Angeles County authorities Tuesday identified one of the two people who were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in the Lake Los Angeles area southeast of Lancaster.
Jesus Garcia Ibarra, 30, was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office as one of the victims. The second victim has not yet been identified.
Paramedics were sent to East Palmdale Boulevard and 152nd Street East about 11:40 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. Utility crews were sent to the scene to repair a power pole that was damaged, the CHP reported.
