Santa Ana police Tuesday were investigating the fatal shooting of a man.
Police responded to the shooting at 3:42 p.m. Monday at 800 S. Townsend St. police said. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Erick Alegria of Santa Ana, who was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Further details of the shooting were not released.
