A 24-year-old man who was fatally shot in the Valinda area of Los Angeles County was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Myon Barnes. Barnes died at the scene.
The shooting was reported about 11:30 a.m. Monday near the 1200 block of Greenberry Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
No arrests were reported.
