Two men were shot to death Sunday morning at a house party in Hawthorne, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at about 2:10 a.m. in the 3600 block of West El Segundo Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A suspect entered the rear yard of a home, where a party was occurring, and began shooting, authorities said. Both victims were struck by gunfire and the suspect fled the backyard in an unknown direction.
Hawthorne police officers dispatched to the scene made entry to the rear yard and located the shooting victims. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information, including the possible motive and suspect description, was immediately available.
