Thirteen people suspected of violating parole and probation, along with other offenses after authorities conducted search operations in Calimesa, Beaumont, Banning, and Cabazon were taken into custody, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.

Members of the Riverside County Gang Task Force arrested the following individuals during the operation:

— Raymond Hutchens, 30, of Banning on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and a post-release community supervision violation;

— Gregorie Lavoie, 39, of Beaumont, and Javier Ortiz, 39, of Cabazon, on suspicion of being in possession of a prohibited weapon. Ortiz had a post-release community supervision violation, while Lavoie had a parole violation;

— Joshua Whitis, 31, of Beaumont on suspicion of several outstanding warrants and being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition;

— Jeremy Evans, 39, of Banning on suspicion of probation violation;

— Krista Weir, 36, of Beaumont, and Kyle Rushey, 35, of Beaumont, on suspicion of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Rushy also had a probation violation;

— Daniel Sotello, 33, of Yucaipa on suspicion of a post-release community supervision violation;

— Jesus Magallon Moreno, 38, of Banning on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for DUI;

— Christopher Maynard, 31, of Banning on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence;

— Thomas Moore, 35, of Banning on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia;

— Stacey Leimas, 48, of Banning on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for providing false identification to a peace officer; and

— Isaac Hammack, 41, of Beaumont on suspicion of two misdemeanor warrants for weapon possession, possession of a controlled substance, and paraphernalia.

“The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs,” sheriff’s officials said in a statement.

“The San Gorgonio Special Operation Regional Gang Task Force is one of six teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Task Force. The San Gorgonio Special Operations Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the Banning Police Department, Beaumont Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.”
