Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman in Azusa, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced Saturday.
Officers from the Azusa Police Department responded at 10 p.m. Friday to the 300 block of North Soldano Avenue, near Third Street and west of the Azusa High School West Campus to an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, officers found the woman suffering from stab wounds, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Sheriff’s detectives are handing the investigation of the woman’s death.
