A motorcyclist was hospitalized Thursday after colliding with a police vehicle in downtown Los Angeles.
The crash occurred just shortly after noon near Hooper Avenue and Washington Boulevard, close to the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries, while no officers were injured, police said.
The collision temporarily halted the Metro Blue Line between San Pedro and Washington Stations, but operations have since resumed, according to the transit agency.
