A man was found dead of gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in Compton, authorities said Wednesday.
The shooting was reported around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of East Rosecrans Avenue, between North Willowbrook Avenue and Mulberry Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responding to reports of a shooting located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds still seated inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
