A man and a woman killed in a domestic violence confrontation in Azusa were identified Monday.
The Azusa Police Department responded around 2 p.m. on Saturday to a report of a person screaming and possible domestic violence in the 300 block of North Twintree Avenue, between Cerritos and Citrus avenues, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Officers detained a male suspect in front of a residence with multiple knife wounds, who was taken by ambulance to a hospital and listed in critical condition, sheriff’s officials said.
A woman and a man were found inside the residence with multiple knife wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as 50-year-old Linda Rodriguez, while the man was identified as 57-year-old Timothy Alder.
