One person was killed Sunday in a wrong-way crash on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona, authorities said.
The crash was reported early Sunday, shortly after midnight, on the westbound freeway near Main Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
A 35-year-old man identified as Stephen Palacios of Rancho Cucamonga was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The number of people involved in the crash was unknown.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the crash.
