A person was killed during a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway in North Hills, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 2 a.m. on the southbound freeway at the Nordhoff Street offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash involved a red van and white sedan.
A representative from Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office was called to the scene at 2:27 a.m.
A SigAlert, issued at 2:31 am. closing the southbound lanes of the freeway at the Nordhoff Street offramp, was extended an additional 30 minutes at 5:55 a.m.
There was no other immediate information available.
