An Endangered Missing Advisory is in effect Saturday for an 8-year-old boy and his 39-year-old father, who were last seen in Hemet.
Nicholas and Dominic McWhirter were last seen near East State Highway 74 and Schultz Road at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday, said the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s office. The alert was issued Friday and authorities believe the two are together.
Nicholas McWhirter is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes. Dominic McWhirter is white, 4 feet tall, weighs 60 pounds, has brown and red hair and green eyes.
Anyone who has seen Nicholas or Dominic McWhirter was asked to call 911.
The Endangered Missing Advisory is an alert designated for the suspicious disappearance of at-risk missing children or other endangered individuals.
