Authorities sought the public’s help Thursday in locating an at-risk 15-year-old boy last seen in Ladera Heights, prompting the issuance of an Ebony Alert.

The California Highway Patrol activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Caiden Thomas was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Saturday near West Centinela Avenue and Alvern Street, according to the CHP.

Caiden was described as a 5-foot-8-inch-tall boy weighing 125 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

He was last seen wearing all-black clothing and shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Caiden’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

Ebony Alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired, or abducted.
