A man was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in the Antelope Valley community of Sun Village.
The collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 11:01 a.m. Saturday and occurred at East Palmdale Boulevard and 120th Street East.
Witnesses said a gray Ford Mustang and a blue GMC SUV collided.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, trapped inside one of the vehicles, the CHP said. He was later identified as 43-year-old Christian Solis, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The intersection was shut down for the collision investigation.
