A man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers responded to a hospital at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday regarding a man who was shot in the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported. He told officers that he was approached by a suspect in the 4800 block of Lakewood Boulevard, who robbed and then shot him.
“Officers responded to the location and could not locate a crime scene,” police said. “The investigation is ongoing.”
