A 41-year-old man suffered an “isolated extremity injury” Sunday while hiking in a remote trail area of the Hollywood Hills, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 1:04 p.m. to Runyon Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The hiker was airlifted from the remote trail area and taken directly to a hospital. No further information was immediately available.
