A 44-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a crossover SUV on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Westchester was identified Monday.
The crash was reported at 11:16 p.m. Sunday on the southbound San Diego Freeway just south of La Tijera Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Kia Soul struck the pedestrian, who sustained multiple injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. She was later identified as Kinna Robin.
A SigAlert was issued at 11:39 p.m., shutting down the southbound lanes, with traffic diverted onto the La Cienega/Manchester boulevards off-ramp while the CHP investigated the crash. The SigAlert was cancelled at about 2:30 a.m. Monday.
