An investigation was underway Monday into a shooting at a Pomona apartment complex that was reported to have killed a teenager.
Pomona Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to 1036 E. Pasadena St., east of North Towne Avenue, about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Pomona police did not immediately confirm that the shooting was fatal, nor did they provide the victim’s age, but ABC7 reported that police stated the victim may have been 16 years old.
Video footage showed multiple police units at the scene and several officers investigating inside the apartment.
Authorities did not indicate whether the shooter was in custody or had fled.
