Monitoring equipment recorded back to back earthquakes in Riverside County this evening.
The U.S. Geological survey reported a 3.8 magnitude tremor roughly five miles west of Mountain Center and 10 miles east of Hemet at 5:36 p.m. Thursday. That was followed by a 3/5 magnitude shakeup just 20 seconds later.
