A pedestrian died in a crash involving two vehicles in Norco, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced Saturday.
Deputies responded to the area near Hamner Avenue and Citrus Street at 9:24 p.m. Friday to a report of a major injury crash involving a pedestrian and two vehicles.
Responding deputies found the pedestrian in the roadway with significant injuries and rendered medical aid, but that person died at the scene.
Both drivers of the involved vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The cause of the crash was under investigation. It was immediately unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
The identity of the pedestrian was withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
