Concerns were mounting Monday for the welfare of a 29-year-old man who vanished from a board-and-care facility in Riverside and suffers from seizures and has the cognitive skills of a 12-year-old.
Edgar Diaz Torres was last seen around 9:20 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Franklin Avenue, according to the Riverside Police Department.
Police said he walked away from the facility where he resides and was known to frequent the area of University and Chicago avenues in the eastside area.
Torres was described as a Hispanic man standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing at 159 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
