A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death on a downtown Los Angeles corner, authorities said Monday.
The stabbing occurred at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Grand Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The victim was standing on the corner when the suspect approached, the spokesman said. They exchanged words, then the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times with an unknown weapon.
The suspect fled westbound on Wilshire Boulevard, he said.
The victim was rushed to a hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead there.
