Crews swiftly snuffed out a non-injury fire in a first-floor apartment in the Carthay section of Los Angeles Tuesday.
The blaze was reported at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday at a two-story apartment building at 6712 W. Olympic Blvd., near La Cienega Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews found light smoke coming from the building and put the fire out in 12 minutes, a spokeswoman said.
Firefighters remained on scene for overhaul of the damage, according to the LAFD’s Lyndsey Lantz.
