A 29-year-old man was killed Monday in a crash in Huntington Beach, and police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

The victim — who was driving an Audi Q5 — collided with a Ford Expedition about 2:15 a.m. Monday on Pacific Coast Highway south of Warner Avenue, police said. The Audi struck the rear of the Expedition, according to police.

The Audi’s driver was identified as 29-year-old Alec Barbisan of Huntington Beach, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Department.

The Ford’s driver cooperated with investigators and did not appear to be impaired, police said.
