A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 79-year-old woman last seen Wednesday in Huntington Beach.
Denise Kachaturian was last seen at 9 a.m. Wednesday near Indianapolis Avenue and Newland Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Kachaturian was described as a 5-foot-4-inch-tall woman weighing 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. What she was last seen wearing remains unknown.
CHP officers believed Kachaturian is traveling in a gray 2017 Mazda CX-5 with California license plate 8WHC672.
Anyone with information regarding Kachaturian’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of the elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
