A 49-year-old woman who died when she was struck by a train in the Sun Valley area of Los Angeles was identified Wednesday.

The woman was struck by an Amtrak train at 7:05 p.m. Sunday at 7425 N. Coldwater Canyon Ave., at Raymer Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, Stewart said.

She was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Stacy Frisher.

No injuries were reported aboard the train.
