A woman shot to death in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of Green Meadows was publicly identified Saturday.
Christine Johnson was 34 years old, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 10:31 p.m. Thursday to Avalon Boulevard and 113th Street regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the victim was arguing with two men when one of them drew a gun and shot her, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called to the scene, where they pronounced the victim dead.
The two suspects ran away from the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
