Two males between 16 and 18 years old suspected of robbing two 15-year-old boys at the Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park were at large Friday.

Officers were dispatched to the mall at 4:15 p.m. Thursday after learning one suspect commented on a gold chain worn by one of the victims and then grabbed it, police said.

“During the altercation, one of the juvenile suspects produced a knife and stabbed the second victim under his arm. The second victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and was later released,” police said in a statement.

The first victim sustained a minor laceration to the back of his head and was treated at the scene.

Detectives learned after further investigation that the suspects ran from the mall, heading northbound on Owensmouth Avenue with the victim’s gold chain, police said.

The two suspects were described as juvenile males between 16 and 18 years old.

One suspect was identified as a 5-foot-8-inch-tall Black male weighing 160 pounds with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect was described as a 5-foot-6-inch-tall Black male weighing 160 pounds with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie, a brown fanny pack, black pants and shoes.
