A man remained hospitalized Saturday after suffering serious head injuries during a pedestrian versus vehicle crash in Menifee, the Menifee Police Department announced.
The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Bradley Road, south of McCall Boulevard. According to the police department, the crash was reported by an uninvolved person who heard it, but did not witness it.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition after suffering major head injuries and abrasions to his hands and arms, according to the police department.
The driver and sole occupant of the 1999 Mercury Villager was described as an 86-year-old man who remained on the scene and was rendering aid to the pedestrian before officers and paramedics arrived.
