A man was shot to death Saturday in the unincorporated South Whittier area.
The shooting was reported about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 10000 block of Mills Avenue, near Mulberry Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. There was no identifying information provided.
Homicide detectives were conducting a crime scene investigation.
Information about suspects and motive was not immediately available and the victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
