One driver was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence at a DUI checkpoint in Palm Springs, authorities said Monday.
The checkpoint was held from 7 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday at East Tahquitz Canyon Way and South Hermosa Drive, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The location of the checkpoint was based on data of reported impaired driving-related crashes, police said.
