A 66-year-old man who was found pinned under a truck in Acton and later died was identified Monday.
The victim was reported trapped under a semi, possibly a gravel truck, around 6:35 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Aliso Canyon Road and BP&L Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 a.m., the CHP reported.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified him Monday as Alberto Duque Diaz, who sustained blunt force injuries.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel were the first to get to the location, but the CHP is investigating the fatality.
