A woman who died on New Year’s Day in Temple City took her own life, authorities said Saturday.
The death occurred at about 2:25 a.m. Thursday in the 9100 block of Duffy Street, between Las Tunas Drive and Broadway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and homicide detectives were sent to investigate the death.
Tiana Nguyen, 26, shot herself to death, the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner said on Saturday.
