Cathedral City residents may spot a large police presence near James Workman Middle School later this week, but it will only be a training exercise.
The training will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday near the area of 69300 30th Ave., according to the Cathedral City Police Department.
Police advised residents to be aware of a large police presence within the area during the training.
