One person was killed Monday in a crash on the transition from the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway to the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Norwalk.
The crash was reported at 12:44 a.m. Monday on the transition from the eastbound 105 to the southbound 605 freeways, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told the CHP that a yellow truck and black SUV collided and that the yellow truck might have gone off the road.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
The CHP contacted Caltrans to set up a hard closure at the transition road while the collision was investigated. The transition road was reopened at about 3:30 a.m.
