A 17-year-old was arrested Tuesday by Los Police Department officers after leading them on a chase that ended in Upland.
The chase began at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at Mammoth Avenue and Moorpark Street where they learned the teen threatened his father with a knife before taking the keys to the family’s car and driving away, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
Officers from both the LAPD and the California Highway Patrol pursued the suspect into San Bernardino County, where they took him into custody.
Fox 11 reported the suspect was taken to a hospital for an injury he sustained during the pursuit.
