A stretch of Santa Susana Pass Road remained closed in Chatsworth Monday morning after a large rockslide near the site of a previous wildfire.

The slide was reported Sunday near Redmesa Road, south of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The two-lane road was closed in both directions following the slide.

An update on when the road would be reopened was not immediately available.

According to broadcast reports, the slide was near an area that burned in November. Video from the location Monday morning showed children playing among the giant boulders.
