Three men are hospitalized Tuesday after they were attacked in South Los Angeles in what police believe is a gang-related shooting.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at approximately 11:35 p.m. Monday to Central Avenue and 90th Street regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the victims were standing at the location when two men came up to them and shot at them, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.

Two victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and the third victim drove himself to the hospital, police said.

The suspects, described only as two men, ran away from the scene in an unknown direction.
