A fire at a two-story house in Moreno Valley Wednesday evening was contained 20 minutes after it was reported.
The blaze was reported at about 7:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 13000 block of Tonikan Drive, near Frederick Street and Eucalyptus Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews managed to limit the fire to the first floor, with containment declared at 7:30 p.m. There was extensive smoke damage to the second floor, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The Red Cross was requested for a woman, but the extent of her injuries or condition was not provided.
Several firefighters remained on scene to ensure all hot spots were doused and to perform a salvage and overhaul operation.
