An Endangered Missing Alert is in effect Friday in Los Angeles County for a 55-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man who were reported missing in El Monte.
Jose Espinosa and Maria Espinosa were last seen Thursday at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Chico Avenue and Whitmore Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Jose Espinosa is Latino, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. Maria Espinosa is Latino, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 270 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has seen the Espinosas or knows of their whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The CHP issues Endangered Missing Alerts if the missing person is developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired, has been abducted, is ill or is unable to otherwise care for themselves and may be in peril.
