A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Palm Desert Friday morning.
Deputies responded at 10:20 a.m. Friday near Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street regarding a crash, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver, who was the sole occupant, was located inside the vehicle with severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies from the Palm Desert Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation, authorities said.
Investigators have not determined if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
