A police pursuit in Westminster ended with a crash involving a police car and one arrest, authorities said Sunday.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle due to unspecified code violations in the area of Beach Boulevard and Westminster Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The vehicle failed to stop and led officers on a short chase through traffic, authorities said. During the pursuit, a police car collided with an uninvolved vehicle, causing one minor injury.
Meanwhile, the suspect stopped nearby and was taken into custody with the assistance of the Anaheim Police Department. The suspect was booked into Orange County jail on suspicion of felony evading and felony driving under the influence.
